The Shanachie Tour is two Dutch librarians, Erik Boekesteijn and Jaap van de Geer. Erik and Jaap were recently ‘Down Under’ and visited a number of Australian libraries. ALIA was pleased to sponsor them to produce a special Episode of their international online media show “This Week in Libraries” http://www.thisweekinlibraries.com – to help promote our libraries and the great work that we do.
The video also follows on from the launch of The National Year of Reading 2012 http://www.love2read.org.au last week.
